The Public Prosecution Service is appealing against the decision of the Utrecht court to extend the TBS treatment of Nadia van de Ven’s murderer by only one year. Pascal F. shot the student in 2002 with a submachine gun in her student house on Weerdsingel in Utrecht. He was eventually sentenced to 20 years in prison and TBS with compulsory treatment.
