Public employment: Zangrillo meets the unions of the central functions sector

(Finance) – In the presence of Minister for Public Administration, Paolo Zangrilloand the trade union organizations of the central functions sector, met this afternoon, at the headquarters of the public function, a Palazzo Vidoni, the comparison table on the contractual issues concerning public employment.

Thanks to the meeting, agreed on the occasion of the signing of the contract of Central functionsit was possible to follow up on the commitments made by Governmenttake stock of the actions taken to date, and face future developments, in a constructive and collaborative perspective. Reiterates the Minister Zangrillo: “The goal is to enhance our people and make sure that they can work in adequate conditions, especially in a context like today’s characterized by sudden and continuous changes in the national and international scenario”.

The government built the conditions, and put the resources, to draw a perspective that looks to the renewals of the contracts, until 2027, for an amount total of 20 billion. An important milestone that had not occurred for decades. Added to this are the multiple measures put in place for training, welfare and work lifestyle. Furthermore, on the need to imprint career paths based on merit, the owner of the public function has pointed out: “In the next few days I will present in the Council of Ministers A bill that connects innovative systems of evaluation and measurement of performance with career paths based on the merits“.

“We made important steps forward – concluded Zangrillo – on central issues for the functioning of the public administration, but above all towards that organizational well -being that our people deserve. In this path, dialogue and comparison are essential to put the many projects on the ground for an organization in step with the times and challenges of a world in constant evolution “.
