PUBG New map Deston coming next week

The countdown has begun for PUBG with its changed name: Battlegrounds, or PUBG with the common name used by players, for the new map Deston. When we look at this map, which was announced in the past weeks and is said to be the most intense map of the game and will be released on July 13, we see that the company has signed one of the most different map designs in the recent period. The new explanations and details for PUBG’s new map Deston are as follows;

PUBG New map Deston arrives on July 13

When PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 18.2 launches on PC servers on July 13 and console servers on July 21, players will now be able to log into Deston, the ninth map of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Players will see a host of new features coming with Deston in Update 18.2, including Boosters, Emergency Parachutes, gas stations, airboats and more.

New Map: Deston

The wait for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ latest 8×8 map is finally over, the near-future devastated world of Deston is now available for players to explore. Deston offers players the opportunity to visit and switch between various regions: an underwater city center home to one of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’s tallest skyscrapers; a muddy swamp, pristine beaches, stunning mountains and unexplored islands. Deston will be available as a featured map and will be playable in Solo, Duo, and Team TPP and FPP modes.

• New Vehicle: Air Boats – Need a vehicle both in the air and on the water? Thanks to the airboat, players will not have to deal with changing vehicles in different terrain types. Air Boats move very fast through bodies of water, travel on land at a maximum speed of 76 km/h, can carry up to five people and can only be used in Deston.
• Highlights: The new map offers new POIs for players to explore! A few notable points in Deston are as follows;
• Ripton – A partially submerged city where players will have to traverse shallow waters and use tall skyscrapers to travel seamlessly from air to ground.
• Swamp – An area with shallow waters to interact with opposing players.
• Concert area – Offers an open-air festival area where you can show off your most agile figures before heading into battle to earn Soup Coins, and a few other highlights for players to visit.
• New Weapon: O12 – Deston introduces a new weapon that players can only use here. The O12 is a 12-caliber gun with a higher accuracy and range than any other weapon that can be more efficient in medium to short range engagements.

Deston Auxiliary Items

To keep the gameplay interesting, Deston introduces new special utility items for quick movement around Deston, including a booster for vertical movement, the parachute, which is the default item for all players when entering the map, and Cell Towers that allow them to be used together. These items will improve their custom in-game interactions and provide players with new base gameplay flow without blocking players’ gameplay focus. Each map utility item will be found in the players’ inventory after entering Deston, and players can use them as often as they wish. These items will not affect the inventory weight and will not occupy their own inventory slots.

New features

• Gas Stations – Deston introduces gas stations for players to fill their vehicles while traveling in Deston. But players should be careful that these gas stations can create a devastating explosion when hit.
• Security Keys and Doors – Deston’s security team seems to have left in a hurry and have left security keys on the map for players to find. Once these security keys are found, they can unlock the security doors to obtain high level loot. Security keys will accumulate in inventory and will be spent after being used on security doors.
