PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, celebrates its anniversary with the 1.9 update and its contents.

PUBG MOBILE has officially released its new 1.9 update on its fourth anniversary, bringing festivities to Erangel and Livik. A new game mode floating in the sky, new theme, vehicles and much more are added to the game with the new update. Players will also have the chance to get a new X-Suit, enjoy the new season and month of the Royale Pass, as well as experience the new co-op with the massively multiplayer online game Warframe.

The game, which officially entered its fourth year in March, is now coming with a series of changes on Erangel, Livik and Start Island as of March 16, giving players the opportunity to celebrate PUBG MOBILE’s birthday party.

Limited time for Air Battlefield

Players who first leave the Origin Island and enter the battlefield can now battle in the sky in the new Aerial Battlefield. At the start of each match, players will transform into colorful puppets and jump into the Air Battlefield and have the option to collect rich, shiny resources. Successful enemy hits will inflate the puppet heads, keeping the floating battlefield afloat. However, hitting teammates will deflate their puppet heads, causing the battlefield to fall to the ground. Players will need to make good use of their time as the Air Battleground only lasts for five minutes at the start of each match.

A foldable bike option is also coming to the game.

For those on the ground, there is a new way to travel. The new folding mountain bikes will be available as a single-seater. With no refueling or charging required, gamers can pack this quiet bike in their backpack and use it later when they need to rush. With the update, Starting Island can be painted in new colors. Players will find four different types of Color Balls that they can use to paint specific buildings. In the themed mode, Colored Balls can also be used to summon four different giant statues that, when combined, will have a special performance.

New campgrounds coming to both maps

Players will also discover a number of new camps on Erangel and Livik with valuable supplies, weapons and more. Two new resource camps, Color Square and Color Camp, will now appear on both maps. In the larger Color Square, players can check out the Bicycle Display and other special anniversary areas. At the Colorful Camp, players can view commemorative exhibits voted on by the community, collect war gear, souvenirs, and special season memorabilia.

Military Camps can now be found on both maps, containing scan stations that allow players to locate nearby vehicles, and Firearms Depots containing valuable supplies.

New Anniversary-themed missions will also be added with the update, allowing players to collect souvenirs and unlock commemorative titles and special rewards. Other updates include team tuning in Ranked Classic Mode, Season Tokens that can now be obtained through events in Ranked Matches, and changes to the shop and season purchase limit.

Plus, new content is coming with the Royale Pass Month 9: Cosmic Clash. Advance through Ranked and unlock the Wukong Prime Set, Brilliant Sparkle Set, and themed PP-19 Bison, Kar98K, and QBZ weapons! Players can unlock these rewards and also earn a free RP Coupon (60 UC) for the next Royale Pass Month, Micro Battle, by participating in the server-wide Golden Chicken event. Royale Pass Month 9: Cosmic Collision begins on March 22 and ends on April 19.

The new Arena mode Royale Arena: Assault is now available. In Royale Arena: Assault, the playing field appears randomly and everywhere can suddenly turn into a battlefield. Strong teamwork and quick reactions are very important as the team that completes the elimination goal first will win. This quick action will be available on Erangel and Livik starting April 7th.
