The Porvoo Floorball Club has risen to victory in the women’s floorball F-League championship.
Reigning champion PSS won TPS 2-1 at home and took 3–2 lead in the match series. The series will be interrupted on Wednesday in Turku.
PSS was already 0-0 in the final series, but has won the previous three matches.
– It was a long meeting after the second game lost. We restructured and the first win at home gave power, PSS head coach Jukka Kouvalainen explains leveling to Sport.
– We got the course translated. The overalls are put on the neck. We’ve squeezed less and enjoyed more, Captain PSS Inka Lampinen says.
Lampinen glowed with the atmosphere of the match,
– It’s crazy, I can’t hear anything on the ground. Few players get to experience this.
On Monday, PSS went 2-0 Celine Stettler and Ella Holmbergin paint before the middle of the first batch. TPS: n Milla Nordlund narrowed by force in the second installment.
TPS head coach Aki Vilander is not worried even if the team has to win the next two matches.
– We were a 50 minute better team. If we are more disciplined, then this will be done. This left a tantrum for Wednesday. Must keep the faith. At those finishers, our top players hit.
