The new PS5 Pro opens for pre-orders this week on Sony’s official website. Other retailers have a separate date to offer their copy of the new console.
The PS5 Pro is certainly one of the most anticipated consoles of the moment. Since its announcement at the beginning of September, Sony knows that its new Playstation 5 will be particularly in demand among a demanding audience of gamers. This is why the firm has decided to separate the pre-orders of the PS5 Pro into two separate dates, with the first pre-orders opening this Thursday, September 26.
Pre-orders for the PS5 Pro first start with an exclusive availability on the official Sony website. To get your hands on this new console, you will have to go to the manufacturer’s website and use your own Sony account to place your order. This new PS5 Pro is offered alongside the old Slim models.
Be careful though: the PS5 Pro only has one model without a built-in disc drive. If you want to enjoy your game discs, you can always buy the bonus disc drive already available at several retailers.
The stand to hold the PS5 Pro upright is also sold separately and will be made available by Sony alongside pre-orders of its new console.
If you want to wait until PS5 Pro pre-orders open at other retailers like Fnac or Amazon, you will have to wait until October 10. As a reminder, the new PS5 Pro will be available for purchase and on shelves from November 7, 2024.
