Sony hardware architect Masayasu Ito, who oversaw the engineering work on both PS4 and PS5, will retire at the end of September.
Having worked with the company for over 30 years and found in almost all PlayStation versions, and also currently Sony Entertainment Masayasu Ito, 60, will retire and hand over the flag at the end of September.

Ito first joined Sony in 1986 and moved into the console division in 2000. During his time at the company, he oversaw the engineering of the PS3, PS4 and PS5, as well as the PS4 Pro. He began console engineering in the early 2000s and has largely worked on PlayStation 1 and 2 peripherals, including LCD monitors for the PSOne.
