(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Prysmiana company listed on Euronext Milan and active in the sector of cable systems for energy and telecommunications, was awarded two shop assistants of the total value of approximately 1.8 billion euros assigned by Dutch transmission system operator TenneT for two electricity grid connection projects, IJmuiden Ver Alpha and Nederwiek 1, which will connect the two future offshore wind farms located in the Dutch part of the North Sea to the province of Zeeland, located in the south-western part of the Netherlands.
These orders go to increase the total value of the order book of Prysmian bringing it to approx 8.5 billion euros.
Prysmian Group will be responsible for the design, engineering, production, installation, testing and commissioning of two cable systems. THE submarine cables will be produced in the centers of Pikkala (Finland) and Arco Felice (Italy), while i terrestrial cables will be made in Gron (France). The laying operations at sea will be carried out with cable-laying vessels owned by the group, in collaboration with the group DEME.
