(Finance) – The Presidential Council of Proxigas yesterday decided on the accession of SGasdotti Italia and Postepay companies. Proxigas thus strengthens its role as a reference interlocutor for the gas sector and among the most authoritative in the energy sector.
The Association represents the entire natural gas supply chain: starting from almost the entire supply system of our country – bringing together the main importers, the managers of the entire national transport network, the regasification terminals (existing and in the process of construction) and storage facilities – up to the majority of operators active on the markets, wholesale and retail, and in the local distribution sector.
“The entry of SGI and Postepay” – declares the President, Cristian Signoretto – “represents an important new step in the path started with the birth of Proxigas and aimed at building an associative representation of the gas sector that is increasingly authoritative and qualified, capable of expressing the sensitivities of the entire sector and of offering contributions to identify solutions that can enhance the national energy system to support the economic and social growth of the country. Effective representation is today even more necessary to address the challenges of decarbonisation and security in a context of great uncertainty and complexity”.
