The province of Utrecht has previously made a draft plan that amounts to around 3.7 billion euros, although that amount may be slightly higher or lower. Of the 3.7 billion euros currently being requested, Utrecht thinks it needs 1.29 billion euros for nature enhancement and restoration and 770 million euros for making agriculture and livestock farming future-proof.
