Province is in danger of not achieving climate goals mobility

Most CO2 emissions in our region come from traffic. Yet it is difficult for a province to do something about this, says responsible deputy Has Bakker (D66). “We have limited influence on this due to our central location, as a lot of traffic passes through the province of Utrecht. On the other hand, if mobility becomes more and more electrified and that electricity is green, emissions will also decrease.”
