But that’s not enough for some local residents. They organized a protest this afternoon, which was also supported by the local branches of the Party for the Animals and Bij1. The latter party speaks of gentrification, i.e. the phenomenon of urban neighborhoods being renovated or embellished with expensive new construction, making houses too expensive for original residents and they have to resort to cheaper neighborhoods.
