Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to the United Nations building after passing through the protests on the streets of New York.
Netanyahu entered the hall and headed to the podium to address the 79th UN General Assembly.
The Turkish delegation, led by Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, left the hall before Netanyahu began his address to the UN General Assembly.
MANY DELEGATIONS ACCOMPANYED THE TURKISH DELEGATION
It was seen that many delegations accompanied the Turkish delegation and the hall was significantly emptied.
While Netanyahu was at the podium, some voices were heard rising from the hall.
Allowing Netanyahu to address the UN, for which an arrest warrant was requested by the International Criminal Court Prosecutor Kerim Khan on the grounds that he had committed a “war crime”, had caused criticism. (AA)
