The Senate has just adopted a bill aimed at improving the protection of whistleblowers. It will make it easier and quicker to go to court. It recognizes the possibility for unions and associations to make reports. This law also establishes a new mechanism: a company that attacks a whistleblower will have to pay the latter’s legal costs. In France, each year, several hundred people become whistleblowers.
