For some time now, several episodes of the popular comedy series have been running on ProSieben’s lunchtime program on Wednesdays. The last episodes of the eighth season will be broadcast there on June 21, 2023 from 12:50 p.m.
So, like a second-rate talk show, the hilarious, gripping, often deeply touching adventure of Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his colleagues comes to an end. Many working fans who haven’t yet seen the comedy series’ ending on Netflix will not be able to enjoy the grand finale.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is popular with fans not only because of the wonderfully staged humor. The series also showed a lot of backbone politically, by devoting several episodes to the controversy surrounding police brutality.
