The shooting death in Skurup in August last year was linked to a planned attack in Stockholm that never got off and a subsequent conflict in a criminal network, the prosecutor believes.

Four boys who are under 15 and residents in Skåne are suspected to have taken on the murder assignment in Skurup for payment. One is suspected to be the shooter and a close friend of him is suspected to have organized the murder and handled the contacts with the adults who ordered it.

– This other boy is suspected to have had a group where it was planned to commit such crimes against payment, says prosecutor Tomas Olvmyr.

He does not want to go into what sums it was about, but says that the police could seize a sum of cash in connection with the arrest.

No penalties

It is a comprehensive investigation of just over 6,000 pages that are now completed and goes out on so -called ending. The next step for the prosecutor will be to awaken a proof of Ystad’s district court, so that the court can decide whether the boys are guilty or not. Because they are so young, no penalties can be imposed.

The boy who is suspected to have shot and the boy who is suspected to have organized are both suspected of murdering a man in his 50s and attempted murder against other relatives who lived in the house in Skurup. Two more boys are suspected of assisting with murder by being out and reconnaissance in place in the residential district before the crime.

The suspected organizer is suspected after the murder in Skurup to have started planning a new murder in Stockholm. Another young teenage boy was recruited for this, who lives in central Sweden, but that crime was not carried out. Even against this fifth boy, the prosecutor plans to awaken the evidence.

“Something goes wrong”

The suspected motive for the murder in Skurup is revenge.

– The investigation’s main track is that in early July there would be an attack in Stockholm and for some reason something goes wrong and it does not happen as planned. There will be a conflict and this act in Skurup on August 10 will be revenge for that conflict, says Tomas Olvmyr.

No suspected client of the murder has been detained, however, a person is arrested in his absence.
