The teachers who were killed at Malmö Latin School were randomly selected victims. Now the prosecutor demands that the 18-year-old student who is charged with the double murder be sentenced to life imprisonment.
– He has studied, he has selected weapons and uniforms and prepared himself mentally. Both victims have been subjected to severe and mindless violence, says prosecutor Johanna Liljeblad.
The victims were killed with a knife and an axe. One of the victims was attacked in rounds, which proves she was alive when the violence resumed, according to prosecutors.
The verdict will be announced on September 8.
