Prosecutor: Police broke in when lawyer Soheil Naderi was arrested

It was early in the morning last week that the lawyer Soheil Naderi, now Robert Naderi, was arrested by the police on suspicion of several frauds and accounting offences. But because he didn’t want to open the door when the police knocked, they had to break in.

– We had to use some force to get in, but the arrest itself went smoothly, says chief prosecutor Lars Olson at the Ecocrime Agency in Malmö.

Accounting violations in his former company

A number of weeks ago, serious accounting violations in Robert Naderi’s former company were reported to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. It is about the company Midzone AB, which Naderi owned for seven years in central Malmö. But when the company was declared bankrupt by the Swedish Tax Agency, he wrote over two of his former clients as goalkeepers in the company and later claimed that it had been hijacked.

Under investigation for several crimes

Now they have also reopened some of the previously dismissed reports against the lawyer regarding fraud.

SVT Nyheter Skåne has previously reported that Naderi has been reported to the police more than 20 times by former clients who believe that he cheated them out of money.

Last week, Robert Naderi was arrested on suspicion of serious fraud, serious accounting crime and five more frauds of the normal degree. He completely denies any crime and has appealed the detention to the Court of Appeal.
