The Tidö parties now agree on the proposal that authorities and municipalities should alert people who are in Sweden illegally, reports SR Ekot.
The proposal has received strong criticism. Among other things, the teachers’ and doctors’ unions believe that in practice this means that employees must indicate undocumented people seeking care or children of undocumented people who go to school.
According to Ekot’s sources, SD and L have had difficulty reaching an agreement. But now the SD has got its way, as the investigator is not to exclude any businesses from the obligation to provide information in advance.
