The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, renounced this Friday, February 28, to ban the stops of large cruise ships in the port of his city. A few weeks ago, however, this elected conservative in the south of France had signed a decree to ban the ships of more than 900 passengers. The Côte d’Azur is a destination plagued by mass tourism with heavy consequences on the environment. But this ban had caused a shield lifting of the sectors which depend precisely on visitors from around the world.
