A German FC 24 professional dared to experiment and started EA FC 24’s toughest competition with a complete team made up of women: the UT Champions Weekend League. Find out how successful that was here.
Since the integration of women into Ultimate Team in FIFA’s successor EA Sports FC 24, there have been occasional voices who did not like the innovation due to a supposed lack of realism. EA Sports then stated that the focus is on the fantasy aspect of Ultimate Team.
Even streamer Montanablack was upset about women’s cards in Ultimate Team.
But the German streamer and FC-24 professional UmutGTK (via Twitch), who plays for the RB Leipzip e-sports team, shows in a new video that you can be very successful with a complete women’s team.
This is how the Weekend League ran with a full women’s team
That was the UmutGTK team: The squad that the professional has chosen is by no means an extremely bad team. It has an overall rating of 83 and, according to UmutGTK, an approximate value of 100,000 coins.
The strongest is likely to be the Inform card from Rachael Kundananji (85), which is very popular because of its 5-star weak foot and 4-star skill moves and currently costs around 36,000 coins.
You won’t find real star kickers like Sam Kerr or Alexia Putellas in the professional team.
Incidentally, kicker Kerr’s MadReady card was the focus of an attempted fraud, in which a player fell for and had to pay a lot of money.
This is how the Weekend League went for the professional: UmutGTK has published a compilation of the highlights on YouTube, which shows how extremely successful he played with his women’s team.
Of the 20 matches in the Weekend League, UmutGTK won an impressive 19 and only suffered their first defeat in the 12th match. So he finished the Weekend League 19-1 and was able to secure tier 1 rewards.
