Listeriosis, a disease that can be serious
If these batches have been recalled, it is because they are likely to cause the listeriosisa serious infection caused by the bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.
The Rappel conso site therefore invites customers “who have consumed the products mentioned above and who have fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches and body aches, to consult their doctor and report this consumption.“.
Moreover,”severe forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can also sometimes occur“, the site further specifies.
Vulnerable individuals (pregnant women, immunocompromised people and the elderly) must therefore be particularly attentive to these symptoms.
The product should not be consumed and it is advisable to make yourself known to your point of sale who will inform you of the compensation until the end date of the recall procedure noted for each product. Contact numbers have also been set up (see above).
