Listeria: the reason for this product recall
If you have one of the batches mentioned in your fridge, the Rappel Conso site recommends that you bring the product back to your point of sale. A refund will be offered to you.
Furthermore, if you have consumed one of the products mentioned and symptoms appear (fever, body aches, headaches), you are strongly advised to consult your doctor without delay. As the Rappel Conso site reminds us, “Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious”. Hence the importance of consulting a health professional. The incubation period for listeriosis can be up to eight weeks.
As for pregnant women, they must be particularly vigilant according to Rappel Conso. Severe forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage may occur. Immunocompromised people and the elderly should also be alert to the symptoms of a listeria infection.
