There are delays in train traffic due to a track fault between Eskilstuna and Kungsör/Kvicksund. It affects traffic between Uppsala and Örebro as well as Sala and Linköping.
– They suspect that there is a sun curve between Eskilstuna and Folkesta, then you don’t drive there because then there is a risk of derailments, says Katarina Wolffram.
Personnel must now be sent out to investigate whether it is a solar curve.
– There are two tracks there and it probably doesn’t apply to both. But then all traffic in both directions must converge on one track and then there will always be delays.
There is no forecast for when the situation will be resolved.
