Failed sci-fi sequel: We’ve waited in vain for Star Trek 4 for 7 years
The main reason the Star Trek franchise is stagnant in theaters is the box office of Star Trek Beyond. Regardless of its quality, the sequel failed fail to meet financial expectations.
