It was at the turn of the year 2020/2021 that an institution in security class 1, the highest security class of closed institutions, was affected by the spread of covid-19. Due to lack of space, no distinction was made between those who were infected and those who were tested negative. Instead, the prisoners were allowed to share a cell in one of the wards, which led to healthy inmates being locked up with the sick.
