According to the investigation, the man had 1,780 child pornographic images and 202 child pornographic films. He is also said to have passed on several of these in various chat conversations.
“Includes a large amount of material that can be considered particularly reckless with regard to the age of the depicted children and the abuse they are subjected to in the material,” the judgment reads.
The man has admitted the act and has sought treatment for his deviant sexual behaviour.
However, the court does not consider that the reasons for probation outweigh the strong reasons for a prison sentence, taking into account the penalty value and nature of the crime. The sentence was therefore imprisonment for one year and eight months for serious child pornography offences.
