A theft of a box of e-cigarettes ended with two people being seriously stabbed in Uddevalla last autumn.

Now an 18-year-old man is sentenced to nine years in prison for attempted murder, while several other people are sentenced for a series of other crimes that were part of the investigation.

The 18-year-old, who is sentenced for stabbing a 28-year-old man, was himself seriously stabbed and beaten in the fight. However, according to the Uddevalla district court, it was about emergency protection and therefore the 28-year-old, among others, is acquitted.

The man, on the other hand, is sentenced to ten months in prison for aggravated theft of the e-cigarettes that belonged to the 18-year-old.
