The princess Sophia, 39, has an impressive wardrobe to say the least. The UFONomore site, operated by Sarah Williamscompiles what several of the world’s most prominent royals wear for incredible dresses but also everyday clothes.
“UFO” in the context stands for Unidentified Fashion Object, and Williams is niche in identifying garments and accessories seen on, among others Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton and the princess Charlene. But our Swedish blue-bloods are also visible in the seams.
Previously have News24 wrote about how Crown Princess Victoria partied in a budget dress, while, for example, the princess Madeleine who has a slightly more “flashy” style, recently sparkled at an event in New York where she showed the jewelry she received as gifts of love from her husband Chris O’Neill.
It is different with Princess Sofia. When it comes to Princess Sofia in particular, she usually mixes Swedish designers such as Dagmar, Ida Lanto and Ida Sjöstedt with classic fashion houses such as Italian Prada or the “king of dresses” Roland Mouret, from which she has several creations.
Princess Sofia has, to say the least, attracted attention for her taste in clothing over the years. Earlier, Nyheter24 wrote about how she was met with criticism when – according to evil tongues – she chose a “far too transparent” dress. “Advertisement for Paradise Hotel?” asked one disappointed follower of the princess’s Instagram account.

Even when the princess went to the annual fashion party Elle Gala, her choice of clothes created incredibly strong emotions – but then it was due to the color combination, and that it was too “uncelebratory”.
It’s not just expensive, exclusive clothes in her wardrobe. Sometimes she is also seen in budget dresses from, for example, H & M, Indiska and Lindex. And Lindex was actually one of the Swedish brands where Princess Sofia found a party bag earlier this year.
Princess Sofia chose a budget bag for SEK 399
In September, when the Riksdag opened, the princess and Prince Carl Philip were there. Princess Sofia then shone in a jumpsuit from the trendy brand Lilli Jahilo, and heels from Charlotte Olympia.
She also wore earrings from Sweden Efva Attling, and a ring from LWL. On top of that, as the icing on the cake, she carried a glittering silver handbag.

Princess Sofia has handbags from, among others, Bottega Veneta and Cartier, which are favorites – she has several different models in all possible colors from the luxury brands. But the silver handbag that Sofia wore with her jumpsuit was actually from the Swedish budget brand Lindex.
It is simply called “Party bag with rhinestones”, and costs SEK 399. It is sold out online, but is available in some stores around Sweden. But it is certainly not the only time that the princess chooses a cheaper option.
Princess Sofia in a red dress at a Christmas concert
When the princess wants to get into the real Christmas spirit, she and the prince visited the Christmas concert in the Gustav Vasa church in Vasastan in Stockholm. Among others, the guitarist performed there Jan Schafferthe violinist Linda Lampenius and the singer Anna Sahlene.
Princess Sofia was very sweetly dressed in a red velvet dress from Andiata for around SEK 3,500, which she matched with black heels and pearls in her ears.

Red in particular is a color that we have seen a lot of in Sofia recently.
When she appeared at the king’s dinner for the Nobel laureates in December, she did so in a red dress that was praised by followers on Instagram.

As a handbag during the Christmas concert, it didn’t actually turn out to be one of the expensive ones, but she actually opted for a much cheaper handbag from the Swedish brand Stockh lm studio. The bag is made of imitation leather and decorated with rhinestones.
The bag costs SEK 599, and is excellent proof that it doesn’t have to be expensive to be well-dressed!
