Employees of the Máxima Center, the Dutch Children’s Cancer Association and other organizations had arranged the aid campaign together. “We are proud of all the people and organizations that helped us make this special relief effort a success. Together we were able to offer these Ukrainian children with cancer and their families a warm welcome,” said Kathelijne Kraal, pediatric oncologist and head of the International Office at the Princess Máxima Center. She traveled with the team to pick up the children from Poland.
