Diana Frances Spencer was born on 1 July 1961 near Sandringham in Norfolk, England.

Born into the nobility in England, she was the youngest daughter of the Viscount Althorp.

After her parents divorced in 1969, she had to travel frequently between her parents’ homes in Northamptonshire and Scotland.

Diana first studied at a college. She then studied at the Kent area boarding school since 1974.

He left here in 1977 to enroll in a school in Switzerland, where he left at Easter the following year.

After school, she worked as a nanny in London. He continued as an assistant in a kindergarten.

In a ceremony dubbed the “wedding of the century,” Diana and Prince Charles were married on July 29, 1981, in St. Paul’s Cathedral. The ceremony was televised and watched by millions of people around the world.

From Buckingham Palace to the cathedral, around 600,000 people gathered to witness those moments.

Diana has always longed for a great family. In the first year of their marriage, on June 21, 1982, their son, Prince William, was born.

He wanted his children to grow up as “normal” as royal custom allowed.

On September 15, 1984, William had a brother: Prince Harry.

Diana’s fame grew more and more. She was turning into a fashion icon. Her outfits were always the center of attention.

His interest and support for charities also became increasingly visible.

He played an important role in reflecting the plight of AIDS patients.

Shaking hands with them sent a strong message to the public that contact was not dangerous.

From the late 1980s, their separate lives with Prince Charles became even more visible.

During an official visit in 1992, Diana was posing alone in front of the Taj Mahal.

This photo was seen as an expression of the couple parting ways, even though they continue to be together officially.

Throughout his life he was in close contact with Mother Teresa.

Known for her charity work, Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.

The charitable nun died 6 days after Diana’s death.

After years apart, Diana and Charles officially divorced on August 28, 1996.

In June the following year, she auctioned off 79 dresses and raised $4.5 million for charities.

This step symbolized his breaking with the past.

The princess called for a ban on anti-personnel mines in 1997.

Activists said Diana’s participation in the campaign was a “landmark”.

On August 31, 1997, he got into his limousine with Dodi Al Fayed after having dinner at the Ritz Paris.
