Prince Daniel’s million-dollar company
Today, Prins Daniel runs the company Fornwij AB, but his name is not visible.
The company is a so-called owner company whose purpose is to own and manage assets in the best way to get maximum return, writes The Express.
In the last four years, the company has made a profit of just over SEK 27 million after tax. At the end of 2023, Fornwij AB had 6.1 million in equity.
A large part of the profits can be traced to the wellness and health company Lapada AB, which owns the gym where Prince Daniel and Crown Princess Viktoria met. Lapada AB is largely owned by the prince company Fornwij AB.
So how much of the cake does Prince Daniel get?
Since 2015, he has taken more than SEK 32 million out of the company in connection with extra general meetings. Last September, the prize fetched one million kroner, according to the newspaper.
