Three years ago, Nehebat Isbilen, 77, whose husband is a political prisoner in Turkey, asked Selman Turk for advice on transferring his fortune out of his country. Since then, she has accused the businessman in the High Court of London of having embezzled part of his money, a sum of more than 45 million euros. What the defendant disputes.

In the court documents appears the name of Prince Andrew. The millionaire claims that Selman Turk advised her to donate almost 900,000 euros to the Duke of York, with the aim of helping him obtain a passport. She later learns that this sum is ” a wedding gift for Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew. The Queen’s son repaid the full amount earlier this year, he does not comment on the case.

A few weeks ago he paid more than 14 million euros to Virginia Giuffre, one of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, who accuses him of rape and sexual assault. He appeared publicly last Tuesday alongside the Queen during the tribute to Prince Philip, who died a year ago. A release that was seen as an attempt to rehabilitate its image.
