Primoz Roglic won the 7th and penultimate stage of Paris-Nice on Saturday March 12. As in 2021, the Slovenian won the only stage with a summit finish, between Nice and the Col de Turini (155.4 kilometers). He beat Colombian Daniel Martinez and Briton Simon Yates. In the general classification, the triple winner of the Vuelta (2019, 2020 and 2021) retains the yellow jersey and extends his lead over Yates, his runner-up, to 47 seconds before the final Nice stage on Sunday.
