The Sweden Democrats’ group leader Henrik Vinge requested at the Riksdag’s question time earlier on Thursday that the Riksdag should test the confidence in Morgan Johansson next week. Both the Moderates, the Liberals and the Christian Democrats have said that they support the distrust.
The Center Party is waiting to say how it will act on the issue.
Magdalena Andersson was very critical of the opposition’s no-confidence motion against the Minister of Justice. She called it irresponsible and says that she now has to think about which opposition leader Ulf Kristersson is.
– I have to think about that and I will have a conversation with Ulf Kristersson.
– We are now three months before an ordinary election, and there is a war going on in our immediate area. We are in a sensitive position for our NATO application. To then create chaos in this way I can not remember has occurred at any time before. If it goes through, it will be a government crisis, she says at a press conference.
– If you remove a Minister of Justice on political grounds, then you remove the entire government.
The Prime Minister said that it is not possible to point out an individual minister as the cause of the gang crime and the increasing number of shootings.
– The problem needs to be solved in a broad joint work.
Andersson also said that she has continued to trust Morgan Johansson.
