Wereldkidz, the school umbrella organization to which Kievit falls, says in a statement that it ‘prefers not to send the message about the closure to the parents’. But: “Sometimes reality forces a board to do this. WereldKidz has deliberately communicated with the parents at an early stage. Because communication took place so early, there is no plan of action or planning in place yet. If we had worked it out first, the parents were indeed informed late, now they have been included at an early stage.”
