GENERAL PRACTICE CONSULTATION PRICE. The price of the consultation should rise from 25 to 26.50 euros this fall.

[Mis à jour le 22 avril 2023 à 11h42] The price of the consultation with your general practitioner will increase. Indeed, according to a official document consulted by AFPthe price will go up by €1.50. In other words, as of next fall, a consultation will cost €26.50, and no longer 25 euros. At a specialist, it will cost 31.50 euros. A decision made official by the former inspector of social affairs, Annick Morel this Monday, April 24. A revaluation which must still be approved by the Minister of Health Francois Braun. If this is the case, this new amount will come into force at the end of the month ofOctober 2023.

The price of the consultation with a general practitioner varies according to whether the doctor is contracted, or not contracted, and his sector of activity (1 or 2). A doctor contracted in sector 1 practices tariffs regulated by the national convention and does not practice fee overruns.

The consultation fee is set at 25 euros with a general practitioner in mainland France. The reimbursement is 70%. You will therefore be reimbursed 16.50 euros out of the 25 euros (a fixed contribution of 1 euro applies, and must be deducted).

The price of a consultation is 25 euros with a GP contracted sector 1. Health insurance reimburses you 16.50 euros, to which is added a 1 euro lump sum contribution. The remaining charge therefore amounts to €7.50.

The territorial commitment contract should make it possible to increase the supply of care by doctors, so as to reduce the phenomenon of medical deserts on French territory. This “pact” imposed by the Cnam requires general practitioners to commit to three subjects:

  • The increase in medical supply (number and renewal of patients)
  • Financial access to care (compliance with tariffs for sectors 1 and 2)
  • The response to the care needs of the territory (participation in the permanence of care, unscheduled care, coordinated exercise)
