Intel, one of the biggest technology brands of today, announced that there will be a price increase in chipset, processor and Wi-Fi hardware parts at the end of this month.
Especially after the pandemic, there was a chip crisis all over the world. However, big brands had great difficulties in selling their products. While these situations are still continuing, the price of hardware parts is increasing day by day. World giant Intel, with the news it shared today, announced that the prices of processor, chipset and Wi-Fi hardware parts will increase.
In general, although there is a general decrease in prices for products such as DRAM, NAND, and graphics cards due to the remaining stocks, Intel and TSMC are increasing their prices on their own. This, of course, keeps the price declines limited.
Towards the end of September, there will be a price increase of up to 20% on Intel hardware parts. It is known that this increase is experienced especially due to economic recession and stock shortages. A world giant company like Intel plans to restructure its financial structure and change its product strategy by 2023.
Entering the last quarter of 2022, Intel has lost around 25% this year. As such, the measures taken by Intel will be reflected on the shelves in the last quarter of the year. It plans to reach the top again with the new products it will launch in 2023.
