But then the surprise success of the prequel Prey 2022 brought even critics of the sci-fi horror series back on board. But will there be a sequel? She told Variety:
I can’t give you a date. And this is not an announcement. But somehow yes. I chat all the time [mit Leuten] about all sorts of things and [das Prey-Sequel] was probably one of them. […] I I am ready. I look forward to seeing where we can take the idea.

That sounds very vague. But vague in the way of actors who are not allowed to talk about projects already underway. And the reactions to Prey support this assumption. After all, the criticism was enthusiastic, as Metacritic shows. And according to Deadline, the film was streamed in droves on Hulu and Disney+.
When is Prey 2 coming to Disney+ or cinemas?
Even if a sequel is very likely, producer Disney hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet. So there’s no launch date yet, but we might have a release end of 2024 imagine. It is not yet clear whether the sci-fi hit will appear in the cinema instead of on Disney+.
