▸ A woman is charged with gross breach of peace and gross illegal coercion against her daughter, who is said to have been forced down with her face in horse poo. At the same time, the mother is charged with unlawful coercion against a related boy, who is said to have threatened to chase and hold the girl in connection with the incident with horse poo, writes the Prosecutor’s Office in a press release. The action was part of the woman’s upbringing methods, the prosecutor told local media. The indictment relates to an incident in 2019 in Ljungby municipality, and the reason that indictments are brought separately in that part right now is that the crime of unlawful coercion has a statute of limitations of five years. According to prosecutor Nils Eliasson, the mother is suspected of more acts that can be considered a serious breach of the peace, but they will be investigated further.
