Pressed beer bottle against man’s butt – gets jail

A man in Umeå is sentenced to three months in prison for assault after pushing a beer bottle into or against another man’s butt, reports Folkbladet.

According to the newspaper, the convicted man was previously married to the vulnerable man’s partner.

The crime took place during a pub evening last summer. An uproar ensued after the convicted man approached the plaintiff unprovoked and carried out the deed.

The man denies the crime. He has previously been sentenced for, among other things, attempted serious assault and serious violation of women’s privacy.
