In Nigeria, the newly elected President, Bola Tinubu, received this Wednesday afternoon, March 1, the certificate of his election during a solemn ceremony before the members of the Electoral Commission in Abuja. Wearing a white coat and a traditional Yoruba red hat, cheered by his supporters of the APC, the ruling party, Bola Tinubu brandishes above his head the certificate making him the new elected president of Nigeria.
Then at the microphone, he makes a solemn speech which is intended to bring people together. ” I know a lot of people didn’t vote for mehe said, and that you are disappointed that this is not your candidate here in my place in front of you (…) Bola Tinubu calls on all Nigerians to work together to create jobs and restore peace.
For now, his main opponent, Atiku Abubakar, whose sixth candidacy and at 76, perhaps the last, has made no statement.
