The second round of the presidential election in Turkey will take place on Sunday 28 May. Incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan topped the first round with 49.5% of the vote. Five points behind him, Kemal Kiliçdaroglu, the opposition candidate, radically changed his strategy before the second round. He made a right turn to appeal to the most nationalist and anti-refugee electorate. A choice that is not unanimous.
