In the DRC, nearly 44 million voters are called to the polls on December 20, 2023 for a triple election: legislative, provincial and presidential. In total, 26 candidates are vying for the supreme office. An election which will be played in a single round in accordance with the Congolese Constitution. An electoral deadline in which all the opposition leaders should participate, unless they reach an agreement on a common candidacy: discussions begin this Monday, November 13 in South Africa.
