President Tebboune spoke of economic achievements with a growth rate of 4.2%, foreign exchange reserves of more than $70 billion and non-hydrocarbon exports estimated at $7 billion. This last figure has never been reached, according to him, since the independence of Algeria.
In social matters, Abdelmadjid Tebboune recalled his decision to grant compensation for more than two million unemployed people and the abolition of income tax for low wages.
In foreign policy, the Algerian head of state estimated that Algiers continues to support the rights of the Palestinians by refusing any movement of the populations of Gaza outside their territory.

Western Saharaaccording to him, is a question of decolonization, as mentioned in United Nations resolutions.
Despite the current diplomatic crisis between Algiers and Bamako, with the recall of ambassadors, the head of state said nothing about relations with Mali. He just said that Algeria will fully defend Africa as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
