During the meeting, the humanitarian crisis resulting from Israel’s attacks on Gaza and the steps to be taken for a solution, Turkey-Iran bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that ending Israel’s attacks would serve the peace of the region and the world, and that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation should strive to reach a fair solution at the extraordinary summit to be held.
Underlining that Turkey is ready to resolve the issue by taking on the responsibility of guarantor, President Erdoğan stated that the Islamic world should take a common stance and increase the pressure on Israel.
