According to the breaking news, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a videoconference meeting with world-famous businessman, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.
According to the statement made by the Presidency of Communications, during the meeting, issues related to cooperation between the public and private sector institutions in Turkey and the company in different fields, especially in satellite and space technologies, were discussed.
In the meeting, electric autonomous vehicles and digital economy issues were also discussed, and long-term investments and steps to improve existing cooperation were evaluated.
ERDOĞAN AND MUSK ALSO TALKED ABOUT TOGG AND TÜRKSAT SATELLITES
During the meeting, joint steps that can be taken regarding the lithium batteries of Turkey’s domestic electric vehicle TOGG were also discussed.
In the videoconference, the process of launching the TÜRKSAT 5-B satellite into space, following the TÜRKSAT 5-A satellite launched by Turkey in January through SpaceX, was also discussed.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan also drew attention to other works carried out by Turkey within the scope of the National Space Program.
