Presidents Xi and Biden have so far only talked virtually since Biden took over the leadership of the United States in early 2021.
The leaders of the United States and China have met today in Bali, Indonesia.
It was about the presidents Joe Biden and Xi Jinping of the first face-to-face meeting during Biden’s tenure as US President. Biden will comment on the discussions at a press conference, which is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. Finnish time.
Both Biden and Xi will attend the two-day meeting of the G20 countries starting on Tuesday. The G20 group includes 19 of the world’s richest countries and a representation from the European Union.
