After a summer marked by a severe drought in France, the government is presenting a series of measures to reduce daily water consumption and avoid a lasting water shortage. The Minister for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion proposes to “reduce by a little more than 10% the volume of water taken from our basements” and to reuse more wastewater.
