According to a person in charge at the municipality, the offer is cheaper than paying salary while waiting for the legal process to be completed.
The incident occurred during an activity where the children were to paint and where two of the children allegedly smeared paint on a table. The preschool teacher lost his temper, grabbed the four-year-old’s neck and also called the children “shit kids”.
The teacher, who is nearing retirement age, accepted the severance package but denies wrongdoing.
